60-Second Shorts

For rising 6th to 8th grade students!

The clock is ticking!

In this brand new workshop, every day brings a fun new filmmaking challenge! At the start of each day, students will be given a prompt. They might have to use a specific prop, or evoke a certain emotion, or tell a story with no words. Working in small groups, they’ll have until the end of the day to write, shoot, and edit movies that are one minute long!

This fast-paced workshop is great for imaginative students with lots of ideas! Telling stories in 60 seconds is a great way to flex your creative muscles while learning technical skills, teamwork, and time management.
