Student Achievement Awards
Light House Achievement Awards are offered to students who have completed workshops covering various topics and demonstrating their knowledge of video production. These awards will help set students apart from their peers when applying to colleges and jobs. See below for a breakdown of required workshops.
Cinema Skills Award
Completion of ten CORE workshops (i.e. Narrative, Documentary, Music Video, etc.)
Community Award
Completion of three COMMUNITY workshops (i.e. Commercial Production, Freelance, etc.)
Technical Methods Award
Completion of six SPECIAL SKILLS workshops (Cinematography, After Effects, Screenwriting, etc.)
All Star Award
Completion of all workshops mentioned above.
As a benefit of receiving a Light House Achievement Award, students will be mentioned in our e-newsletter and social media platforms. For those students who earn the All Star Award, we will offer guidance and advice in designing or polishing a portfolio, showreel, or resume as well as a certificate. Each workshop on our website is marked with a ribbon specifying the skill type. Take your filmmaking to the next level and start earning towards your Achievement Awards!
