WHAT A SUCCESS!
We had a great time welcoming Jamie Sisley to the Vinegar Hill Theatre. The film's message was very powerful and moving and we thoroughly enjoyed the Q&A following the screening. On Saturday, we hosted a Master Class with Jamie and the students learned a lot about directing actors and finding success as independent filmmakers.

"Jamie's class was SO informative! Light House did a great job advertising it through different Facebook groups and making the process to sign up easy. Through Jamie, I better understand how to pursue directing and working with actors through different parts of production. Understanding his experiences not just on his first feature, but from after graduating from UVA to where he is now and how they guided him on his first feature, was really helpful. He really cares to understand everyone's backgrounds and interests, especially to cater the class towards what everyone was trying to learn from him. It was a great way to meet other filmmakers in the community. Highly recommend for anyone whether you're in high school to post-college wanting to learn from someone professionally!"
