STATIC: Cult Classic Edition starts this Wednesday!
It’s not too late to sign up for this special offering of STATIC. This session will be dedicated to the good, the bad and the so-bad-they’re-good world of Cult Cinema. We’ll be watching and discussing both new and old, obscure, misunderstood and forgotten films that have gained notoriety and rabid fan bases for their completely original and sometimes strange take on movie-making. More Workshops this Winter
In addition to STATIC, don’t forget about the IRC Documentary Workshop. This free workshop pairs filmmakers up with young refugees through the International Rescue Committee, to help them tell their story of coming to the US. This is a great opportunity to make a film that enlightens the community about people from other countries, and may count towards your school’s volunteer/community service requirement. You can download the application here. It starts on Feb. 25, and continues on Saturdays, from 10am-12pm.
