2011 Virginia Film Festival Announcement
Wednesday was the Virginia Film Festival launch party, announcing this year’s program. We are thrilled that Light House student Reid Hildebrands’s film, The Balloonist, will be shown before the Opening Night film, The Descendants, at Culbreth Theatre on Thursday, November 3rd at 7pm. In addition, Light House will screen short films at the Regal Downtown Cinema on Saturday, November 5th at 11am, with a Q&A with the student filmmakers afterwards. This screening is FREE and family-friendly!
Also, Light House will have three teams of high schoolers competing in the Adrenaline Film Project, and their films will be shown Saturday night, November 5th, at 10pm at Culbreth Theatre. We are very grateful to collaborate so closely with the Virginia Film Festival!
